History & heritage
Born from the merger of Uvernet and Fours, the town saw the birth in 1962 of the Pra-Loup resort, which became one of the major areas of the Southern Alps, connected to La Foux d 'Allos within the Espace Lumière.
Geography & setting
South of Barcelonnette, Uvernet-Fours stretches from the Ubaye valley to the Gorges du Bachelard and the Col de la Cayolle road, at the gates of the Mercantour National Park.
